I offer an energetic greeting to all those who follow puertoricans.com. After several years away, as I dealt with the loss of one of our dear contributers, I'm pleased to return my contributions to this wonderful web site. This past Sunday, I had the opportunity of capturing some images of the New York City Puerto Rican Day Parade as the participants marched up Fifth Avenue. For many of you that were not able to be present at the parade, these images bring to you a sampling of the colorful costumes, marching bands, floats, celebrities, dancers, politicians, and spectators. As a proud Puerto Rican, I had a very satisfying time of the rich, cultural displays that I witness this very special day; enjoy!
