Las Fiestas Patronales 2008 and Business Expo once again were a hit. Mr. Frank Nieves offered a fabulous line up of great Puerto Rican talent.A few of the artist that participated this year were Tito Allen, Plena Es,Rafy Santana, Melina Almodovar,Anthony Cruz, Papo Cocote and Roberto y su Nuevo Montuno. The event attracts people from all over .You could see how everyone had a fun time jamming to their sounds.Saturday there was a Comparsa de Plena and different plenero groups delighted us with their music.The crowd felt the vibe and joined in with their own pleneras and lets not forget the pandero cuadrado created by el artesano Dennis Garcia and his fellow musicians from Dorado Puerto Rico.
Musica jibara was interpreted by Efrain Jataca and el gran cuatrista Prodigio Claudio a virtuoso to say the least.

I would like to mention that Osvaldo Rios was honored and recognized for his fine acting career all over Latin America.
Harold and Andycito accompanied their father Andy Montañez with the all-star big salsa band sound of Mario Ortiz hijo. Andy represents a feeling of pride, hearing him sing brings sweet memories of Puerto Rico and he truly is a national treasure.
We would like to thank Frank Nieves for allowing us once again to cover these Fiestas Patronales.He is a cornerstone in the South Florida community.
