This week 2nd Boricua Agenda Summit-Mission Statement: The Mission of the Boricua Conference is to provide a forum by which Puerto Ricans residing in New Jersey can examine our present role in the New Jersey community and create a proactive agenda to improve our economic, educational, social/cultural, and political well-being.

Many elected officials have confirmed their participation, including: Assemblyman Wilfredo Caraballo, Assemblywoman Nellie Pou, Assemblyman/Mayor Joe Vas, County Freeholder Sonia Rosado, Councilman Carlos Alma, Councilman Luis Quintana, Councilman Hector Corchado, NJ Gubernatorial nominee Doug Forrester, Deputy Mayor Jeanette Ramos, Councilman Peter Jimenez, Congressman Bob Menendez and Senator Jon S. Corzine (also NJ Gubernatorial nominee).
