The 5th annual Fiestas Patronales were celebrated on Oct. 6-9th 2005. Las Fiestas were dedicated to "La Vedette de America The legendary "Iris Chacon" and singer, composer Roberto Anglero. The masters of ceremony direct from PR Roberto Vigoreaux and Junior Echevarria. The guest performing live were Giovanni Hidalgo, Mario Ortiz Jr. and his orchestra with the surprise reunion of the original singers Anthony Cruz and Primi Cruz, other guest performers were ex singers from Apolo Sound Tito Cruz, Sammy Gonzalez, and Papo Sanchez. The famous timbalero Edgardo Morales was also present. This year was definitely a star event that was enjoyed by young and old.

This week 2nd Boricua Agenda Summit-Mission Statement: The Mission of the Boricua Conference is to provide a forum by which Puerto Ricans residing in New Jersey can examine our present role in the New Jersey community and create a proactive agenda to improve our economic, educational, social/cultural, and political well-being.
