VI Festival Puertorriqueño del Platano was held on Jan. 15, 2006. This year the fiestas were dedicated to "el pueblo de Yabucoa y el fenecido Tony Croatto". The musical performers that graced the stage were Haciendo Punto en otro Son, Potencia Latina, Trio El Señorial, Pura Plena, La Princesita del la Trova Lorraine Torres y Michael Torres. El Payaso Remi was a sensation with the kids and brought back sweet memories to all the adults who grew up with his songs.
