Fiesta Jibara Navideña was held on Dec. 17, 2005. It was a typical puertorican Christmas party , we enjoyed music by Grupos "Plena ES " and "En Tiempo Cuatro". El Centro Cultural de Puerto Rico en el Sur de la Florida, Inc. sponsored the event and a donation of a toy was to benefit the "Open Door Health Center" .

Fox Deportes en Enpañol held it's Premios to the best Latino athletes on Dec.5, 2005 . Many athletes in different sports were honored. The award of boxer of the year was presented to el puertoriqueño "Miguel Cotto" . Many distinguished figures of the sports and music community attended. The entertainment had an array of stars such as "Olga Tañon, Julio Voltio, Victor Manuelle y N' Klabe to name a few. It was a red carpet event held at the Jackie Gleason theater in Miami Beach, Fl
