Dear Eddie:
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Board Members and
members of the Atlantic County Puerto Rican Parade,
I would like to thank you for participating as one of
the panelists of the 1st Annual Partners in Excellence
Latino Regional Conference. Your presentation on Hispanics
and the Latino Market was informative and such an important
component of our conference. You did an amazing job
with your presentation. Thank you for maintaining such
an exemplary Website and for your collaboration in keeping
millions of people informed about what is going on in
the world. Thank you for coordinating such a beautiful
display with such precious photographic images of Puerto
Rico.
The conference was a success. We had representatives
from 19 different Latino organizations who want to unite
to work together with the purpose of educating the community
as well as ourselves in establishing a plan for the
betterment of our Hispanic communities throughout the
region. Our Youth Advisory Council will begin to meet
in May to start developing children and youth initiatives
for the community. It was wonderful to also receive
the support from our media representatives including
Nuestra Comunidad Newspaper, your Website PuertoRicans.com,
Radio La Ley and NJLatinoNews.
The Atlantic County Puerto Rican Parade is excited
about activities planned for the upcoming year. On Sunday,
August 13, 2006, we will present on 10th Annual Puerto
Rican Parade and Latin Music Festival on the Atlantic
City Boardwalk. People from New Jersey and the surrounding
states now look forward to enjoying the annual Parade
on the boardwalk and the Latin Music Festival that follows
the Parade. Last year the estimated attendance for the
festival alone were 20,000 people that came from New
Jersey and other states including the island of Puerto
Rico. This year we are expecting anywhere from 25,000
to 35,000 individuals. I welcome you to join us at the
parade and festival.
We have other projects underway and we wish to count
on your continued support. If we can be of any assistance
to you or PuertoRicans.com, please don’t hesitate to
contact me at (609) 226-8183.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Yvette Soto
ACPRP President
